I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Now that the holiday is over, you may be asking yourself what to do with all of the leftover turkey. You can always freeze it and use it later. However, my favorite way to use leftover turkey is by making Turkey & Noodles.
I love this versatile dish so much. My husband looks forward to it almost as much as Thanksgiving dinner itself. I like to throw leftover veggies such as green beans, celery, carrots, and corn in the pot, too.
I used multicolored pasta shells in this batch. It turned out great!
Margarite’s Turkey & Noodles 64 ounces turkey or chicken broth 2 cups chopped turkey 2 cups noodles/pasta (whatever kind you have on hand is probably fine) 1 Tablespoon Weber Roasted Garlic and Herb Seasoning 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
Add turkey/chicken broth to saucepan and bring to a boil. Add your turkey and dry pasta. Gently boil for at least 15 minutes.
Adjust the seasoning to your taste. I love black pepper and garlic, but not everyone is a fan. You can throw in some leftover or frozen veggies, too. Just be sure to add more liquid if you expand the recipe. Don’t be afraid to use water if you don’t have broth. Be creative and enjoy a warm down-home meal, secure in the knowledge those Thanksgiving leftovers aren’t going to waste.
I hope you all stay safe and healthy!
